How to Connect!

To connect to the server, first start Minecraft and click Multiplayer.

At the bottom of the window, click Add Server. There should be two boxes, Server Name and IP Address.

The server name does not matter, and can be named what you wish, such as Kubikraft or The Best Server Ever.

In the Server Address box, enter play.kubikraft.com and Confirm your entries by clicking done.

You will be taken back to the server list. The server should now be in the list with your chosen name.

Hover the icon and click the arrow that appears. You will be brought directly into the server.

Possible Errors:

Multiplayer button greyed out
Mojang controversially added global banning to minecraft in the update 1.19.1 but back-ported its bans all the way back to the 1.8 versions. Unfortunately this means you were banned from online public play and there is nothing we can do. The best you can do is contact mojang and beg for forgiveness. Kubikraft did not, and does not support the implementation of this "feature" and will do whatever it can, within reason, to disable it across our network.

Disconnected by server. Outdated server!" or "Disconnected by server. Outdated client!
If Minecraft updated recently, you might get these error messages. They mean that you are running a different minecraft version than the server. You can only connect to servers with the same protocol version as your client. Try creating a new profile in the launcher with the version the server is running on.

Disconnected by Server. Invalid session (Try restarting your game)
When you log in to Minecraft you get a session ID which the Mojang servers keeps track of. Only the client with the latest session ID for your account is allowed to join servers. Do as the message says and restart your game. You can not join the server if you use a cracked Minecraft launcher.

Cannot connect to server
This appears next to the list of servers. Sometimes it is a false error and may resolve itself if you try to join. Alternatively, the server might be down, or you may not have a stable internet connection. Both are usually temporary.

Cannot resolve hostname
This appears next to the list of servers. This means that minecraft could not find the server. Check the address spelling and try again.

End of stream
This may happen if you try to connect too rapidly to a server. Often a result of a hacked client or installed mods. Quit the game and disable mods, wait a bit, and try again.

The authentication servers are currently down for maintenance.
The servers that Minecraft uses to check your session ID is valid are currently down. There is nothing you can do except wait unfortunately.

Java error, such as java.lang.aMethodWhichReturnedAStackTrace():
This might be different depending on the error message. Search the web for others with the same problem, and you might find a solution.
